Job description

The junior project planner will be responsible for providing necessary input for all the planning activates and deliverables including but not limited to scheduling, progress repouring, predacity analysis and delay notions as necessary. Will assist senior constructor planner with the required WBS (work breakdown structure) using Primavera P6. This role will provide overall experience in coordinating, developing and updating the baseline plan across all areas of the project, overall WBS (work breakdown structure) preparer on all planning related tasks.

Key Responsibility:

• Provides input on task relations for project management team in developing Project Baseline plans using Primavera P6 software.

• Prepares project planning procedures, defining program requirements, resource planning, and progress assessment methods.

• Ensures timely collection and incorporation of accurate updated information into the program.

• Analyzes the effects of updated information and highlights adverse situations to the project manager.

• Incorporates changes to the scope of work into program, analyzing effects on histograms and progress curves.

• Reviews and prepares narratives for reports.

• Implements progress and productivity reporting systems following established procedures.

• Reviews integration of subcontractors' schedules within the baseline schedule, ensuring compliance with project requirements.

• Reviews preparation of working programs and short-term look-ahead programs as needed.

• Monitors and controls progress of key activities in engineering, procurement, construction, and handover phases.

• Collects data and updates project schedules using Primavera P6 software.

• Reviews and submits daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the client as per agreed project calendar.

• Coordinates and prepares Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all main trades/activities and costs.

• Monitors the schedule's critical and longest path.

• Forecasts resources and costs, preparing histograms and reports.

• Prepares management reports and dashboard reports as required.

• Reviews delay analysis and assists in preparing extension of time (EOT) programs using Primavera P6 software.

• Provides support for new bids, preparing tender programs as per tender documents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, mechanical or equivalent

• 5+ years of relevant work experience

• EVS work experience is preferred

• Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sway etc.)

• Knowledge of Tekla, Revit, AutoCAD etc is preferred

• Experience in execution of high-rise and low-rise buildings (Including civil and structural steel

works) is a plus.
