**Job Description:**

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Qualified MEP Procurement Engineer to join our team for our prestigious Port project in Neom city, Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement and contracting processes to support the successful delivery of the project.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely acquisition of materials, equipment, and services.

- Prepare and issue tenders, requests for proposals, and other procurement documentation.

- Evaluate bids and proposals from suppliers and contractors, and make recommendations for contract awards.

- Negotiate and finalize contract terms and conditions with vendors and subcontractors.

- Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

- Coordinate with project teams to understand their procurement requirements and priorities.

- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors to optimize procurement processes.

- Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.

- Provide regular procurement status updates and reports to the project management team.

- Assist in the resolution of procurement-related issues and disputes.

**Qualifications and Experience:**

- Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Qualified MEP Procurement Engineer in Saudi Arabia.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- Extensive knowledge of MEP procurement processes, contract management, and supplier negotiations.

- Familiar with contracts, with a high level of English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

- Proficient in the use of procurement software and contract management tools.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Familiarity with local procurement regulations and practices in Saudi Arabia.
