Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Safety Officer at Arkan al Afdal Contracting Company located in Makkah Region. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, developing safety policies and procedures, and implementing safety training programs. The Safety Officer will also investigate accidents and incidents, identify potential hazards, and recommend corrective actions to promote a safe work environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure appropriate risk mitigation measures are in place.
Provide HSE training and guidance to employees and contractors.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training.
Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations.
Educational Requirements :
Diploma related to health, safety, and environmental management.
Proven experience in HSE roles.
NEBOSH AND IOSH CERTIFICATION REQUIRED.
Salary will be decided based on qualification and experience.
