Assist engineers in such activities as process control, electrical power distribution, or instrumentation design. May prepare layouts of electrical transmission or distribution systems & mechanical designs, supervise the flow of work, estimate project costs, or participate in ideas and solutions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conduct work Inspections on wiring and fixtures for quality control & compliance with government electrical codes and conformance to company specifications & standards, reporting findings and recommendations.
• Supervises and coordinates activities of technicians engaged in construction, maintenance and repair of electric power, lighting, communication systems, and mechanical systems of buildings, factories, and transportation equipment.
• Perform supervisory duties such as recommending work assignments, approving leaves and completing performance evaluations.
• Plans wiring and installation of equipment and fixtures, such as AC units, lighting, motors, generators, switches, circuit breakers, and fuse boxes, according to blueprints, schematic drawings, and sketches.
• Provide technical assistance and resolution when engineering problems are encountered before, during, and after construction.
• Write commissioning procedures for different types of electromechanical, low current and telecom installations.
• Assist in preparing project cost and work-time estimates.
• Perform business management duties such as maintaining records and files, preparing reports and ordering supplies and equipment.
• Trains new workers.
KNOWLEDGE:
• Good English language & communication skills communicate with other team members and other third-party team.
• Knowledge of Public Safety and Security and its relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
