A leading construction company dedicated to excellence in building and infrastructure projects are seeking a motivated and experienced QC Engineer - Civil (+ 5Years) to join our team and contribute to the success of our project in Riyadh Industrial City 4.
Job Description:
The QC Engineer (Civil) will be responsible for overseeing quality control processes and ensuring that all construction activities comply with company standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will collaborate with project teams to implement effective quality control measures and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and procedures.
Conduct inspections and tests to ensure materials and workmanship meet project specifications and industry standards.
Review and approve construction materials, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
Monitor and document construction activities, identifying and addressing any quality issues.
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to resolve quality-related issues.
Prepare and maintain detailed quality control records and reports.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for non-conformances.
Participate in project meetings and provide technical support on quality control matters.
Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (with Saudi Council of Engineering Certificate).
Professional certification in quality control (e.g., ISO 9001) is preferred.
5+ years of experience in quality control within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
