A leading construction company dedicated to excellence in building and infrastructure projects are seeking a motivated and experienced HSE Engineer (+ 5Years) to join our team and contribute to the success of our project in Riyadh Industrial City 4.
Job Description:
The HSE Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and compliance of HSE policies, procedures, and regulations on construction sites. The successful candidate will work closely with project manager, site supervisor, and workers to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses.
Monitor and enforce compliance with HSE regulations and company policies.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for prevention.
Provide HSE training and induction programs for employees and contractors.
Collaborate with project teams to develop site-specific HSE plans.
Maintain HSE records and documentation.
Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
Promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness within the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering. (with Saudi Council of Engineering Certificate)
Professional certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, IOSH) is preferred.
5+ years of experience in HSE management in the construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
