Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution: Develop and update detailed project plans and schedules.
Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.
Oversee the day-to-day operations on the construction site.
Quality and Safety Management: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project expenditures and track costs to avoid budget overruns.
Prepare cost estimates and assist in procurement of materials and subcontractor services.
Contract Administration: Review and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
Resolve any disputes or issues related to contracts.
Coordination and Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
Facilitate regular project meetings and provide updates on project progress.
Problem-Solving: Identify potential issues and risks and develop solutions to address them.
Respond to unforeseen problems and make adjustments as needed to keep the project on track.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project records, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
Prepare and present reports on project status, milestones, and performance.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience: 5-6 years of experience in construction project management or engineering roles.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Engineer (PE)
