Job Overview:
We are looking for an organized and proactive Procurement Coordinator to assist with the sourcing and purchasing of Food Products(FMCG) for our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the procurement process, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies.
Coordinate the purchase of goods and services, ensuring timely and accurate processing of purchase orders.
Maintain and update procurement records, including contracts, pricing agreements, and purchase orders.
Communicate with suppliers to confirm purchase details, delivery schedules, and resolve any order-related issues.
Collaborate with internal departments, including finance, operations, and logistics, to ensure procurement needs are met.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in demand forecasting to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
Support vendor evaluation and selection, including tracking supplier performance and ensuring adherence to contract terms.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Assist in negotiating contracts and prices with suppliers to secure the best deals.
Generate reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis, delivery performance, and inventory levels.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
Familiarity with procurement processes and systems.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and procurement software.
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
