Warehouse Manager

Job description

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the efficient operation of the warehouse, ensuring the accurate and timely receipt, storage, and delivery of goods. This role involves managing inventory levels, optimizing warehouse layout, and implementing standard operating procedures to maximize productivity and minimize errors. The Warehouse Manager also oversees a team of warehouse staff, providing leadership, training, and ongoing performance management to meet operational targets. Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and cycle counts. Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the warehouse. Train and develop warehouse staff to improve performance and productivity. Implement and enforce standard operating procedures for warehouse operations. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement. Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and best practices. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Effective leadership and team management abilities.
