Job description

 Project Engineer - Electrical is responsible for leading and managing electrical engineering projects, from planning through to execution and completion. This role involves overseeing electrical system design, ensuring compliance with standards, coordinating with project teams, and delivering projects within scope, budget, and time constraints. The Senior Project Engineer will also provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

Lead electrical engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.

Develop and review electrical designs, specifications, and project documentation.

Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to define project requirements, schedules, and deliverables.

Oversee the selection and procurement of electrical equipment and materials.

Perform electrical system calculations, load analysis, and power distribution planning.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC).

Supervise the execution of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities.

Provide technical support and guidance during project execution, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as needed.

Monitor project progress, review milestones, and adjust plans to mitigate risks and ensure successful delivery.

Mentor and guide junior engineers, supporting their technical development and project management skills.

Mandatory Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of experience working on Aramco projects is required.

The candidate should have experience in managing and executing design projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

10+ years of experience in electrical engineering and project management.

Proven experience with electrical system design, including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.

Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, Revit).

Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.

Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and large-scale projects.

Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.

Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
