Estimation Engineer
Job Description:
Analyze project requirements, specifications, and drawings to prepare cost estimates.
Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs to develop accurate project budgets.
Collaborate with the sales, engineering, and procurement teams to gather necessary information for cost estimation.
Identify potential risks and provide value engineering options to optimize project costs.
Prepare detailed estimation reports, including breakdowns of costs and timelines.
Support the bidding process by providing pricing details and technical clarifications.
Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and market conditions.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
Experience in cost estimation, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Proficiency in estimation software and MS Excel.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
