Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer - Rotating Equipment to join our team in Khafji, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 15 years of experience in the field of rotating equipment and have substantial experience with oil and gas industry projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Engineering: Lead the design, specification, and selection of rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and fans, for oil and gas projects.

Analysis & Assessment: Perform failure analysis, reliability assessments, and troubleshooting of rotating equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Installation & Commissioning: Oversee the installation, commissioning, and start-up of rotating equipment on-site.

Maintenance & Reliability: Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximize the operational reliability and efficiency of rotating equipment.

Project Support: Provide technical support during the execution of projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedules, and safety standards.

Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the correct equipment is procured and meets project requirements.

Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed reports, technical documentation, and progress updates related to rotating equipment for management and project teams.

Troubleshooting: Provide expert troubleshooting and support during operational phases to resolve mechanical issues related to rotating equipment.

Safety Standards: Ensure all work complies with industry safety standards, regulations, and best practices, particularly in the oil and gas sector.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and project managers, to achieve project goals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in rotating equipment, with a proven track record in the oil and gas industry.

Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience working with rotating equipment in the oil and gas sector, including offshore/onshore facilities.

Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of rotating machinery design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operations. Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools.

Certifications: Relevant certifications in mechanical or rotating equipment engineering are preferred.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex engineering challenges.
