Job Summary:
The Site Engineer will oversee the Timber Cladding project's site supervision and construction management. This role involves managing daily on-site operations, ensuring construction meets project specifications, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Coordination with contractors, consultants, and suppliers is essential to deliver the project on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage daily construction activities, ensuring alignment with project plans and specifications.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain detailed records of work progress and prepare regular progress reports.
• Optimize the use of materials, equipment, and manpower, overseeing logistics to align with the project timeline.
• Manage and coordinate the work of carpenters, foremen, and other site personnel.
• Ensure effective communication between design teams and site personnel to resolve issues and maintain progress.
Minimum Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in site supervision or construction management, preferably in timber or façade systems, with experience in architectural projects and woodwork.
• Skills: Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and strong leadership in managing manpower.
• Ability: Work effectively under pressure.
