Job Title: Draftsman (Precast Experience)
*Job Summary*
We are seeking an experienced Draftsman with expertise in precast concrete design and detailing. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and models for precast concrete structures, including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.
*Key Responsibilities*
1. *Precast Design and Detailing*: Create detailed drawings and models for precast concrete structures, including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.
2. *Drawing and Modeling*: Prepare and revise drawings, models, and other documents using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
3. *Design Development*: Assist in the development of precast concrete designs, including layout, detailing, and connections.
4. *Collaboration*: Work closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet project requirements.
5. *Quality Control*: Review and verify drawings and models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards.
6. *Documentation*: Maintain accurate records of drawings, models, and other project documents.
*Requirements*
1. *Education*: Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, or Architecture.
2. *Experience*: Minimum 4 years of experience in drafting, design, and detailing, preferably in precast concrete.
3. *CAD Skills*: Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
4. *Precast Knowledge*: Strong understanding of precast concrete design, detailing, and construction methods.
5. *Communication*: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Preferred Qualifications*
1. *Industry Certifications*: Certifications in drafting, design, or engineering, such as CAD Operator Certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
2. *Precast Software*: Experience with precast-specific software, such as Tekla Structures or Allplan.
3. *Project Management*: Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
