We are hiring a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in shop drawings preparation, material submittals, testing, and commissioning work. The candidate will work closely with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure all electrical systems meet project requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed shop drawings for electrical systems as per project specifications and consultant requirements.
Review and prepare material submittals for consultant/client approval.
Coordinate with design and site teams to ensure accurate implementation of approved drawings.
Perform and oversee testing and commissioning of electrical systems including power, lighting, and low current systems.
Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues on-site.
Ensure compliance with project schedules, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and other engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Maintain proper documentation for project progress, inspections, and commissioning records.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering roles, especially in construction or contracting companies.
Strong knowledge of shop drawing preparation, material submittals, and testing & commissioning procedures.
Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with MEP projects.
Understanding of low voltage, power distribution, lighting, and ELV systems.
Hands-on experience in site supervision and inspection.
