Electrical Sales Engineer - Switchgear (LV and MV)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Sales Engineer specializing in Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, providing technical expertise, and building strong relationships with clients in the electrical and power distribution industry. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and sales skills to promote and sell our range of switchgear products effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets for LV and MV switchgear.
• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, distributors, and end-users.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to clients.
• Conduct site visits and follow up on leads and project requirements.
2. Technical Support:
• Provide technical expertise to clients regarding switchgear specifications, applications, and compliance standards.
• Assist in the preparation of quotations, tenders, and technical submittals.
• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure solutions meet customer requirements.
3. Market Analysis:
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Provide feedback and insights to the product management and marketing teams.
4. Negotiation and Contract Management:
• Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions with customers.
• Ensure contracts are aligned with company policies and profitability goals.
5. Reporting:
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management review.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of sales experience in LV and MV switchgear or related electrical products.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of switchgear standards (IEC, ANSI), electrical distribution systems, and protection schemes.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Language: Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
• Others: Willingness to travel as required.
