Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Engineer with a strong background in the oil and gas EPC industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies, risk assessment, and implementation of safety measures across all phases of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor company HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventive measures.
Carry out site inspections to ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards.
Participate in project HAZID/HAZOP studies and job safety analysis.
Provide safety training and toolbox talks to project personnel.
Prepare safety reports, incident/accident investigations, and ensure timely corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations relevant to the oil and gas sector.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience in Demolition of Offshore jackets
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Safety Engineer in the oil and gas EPC industry.
Relevant certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent).
In-depth knowledge of international safety standards and best practices.
Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
Preferred:
Familiarity with ARAMCO, or other major client HSE standards is a plus.
Experience in both onshore and offshore projects is advantageous.
Experience in onshore demolition projects is advantageous.
