Job Title: Senior Site Engineer (Landscaping)

Job Purpose:
The Senior Site Engineer (Landscaping) is responsible for overseeing all on-site landscaping works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards. This role requires close coordination with consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams to deliver high-quality landscape works safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the execution of all on-site landscaping activities, including softscape, hardscape, and irrigation works.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality/safety standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to resolve design or execution issues.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports on work status, delays, and mitigation measures.
- Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project standards and environmental/sustainability practices.
- Review and approve method statements, work inspections, and shop drawings related to landscaping works.
- Ensure compliance with all local authority requirements and project-specific safety protocols.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and site staff as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
- Valid engineering license or membership in a recognized professional engineering body.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in landscape construction, preferably on large-scale infrastructure or development projects.
- Strong knowledge of sustainable landscaping practices, materials, and systems.
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and construction documents.
