Key Responsibilities
Project Execution
Supervise daily site activities for interior works (partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, MEP coordination, etc.).
Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and labor teams.
Quality & Safety
Implement quality control measures to meet client and consultant expectations.
Conduct inspections for materials and workmanship.
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
Coordination
Act as a link between project managers, designers, consultants, and site workers.
Attend site meetings to update progress and resolve technical/site issues.
Coordinate fit-out activities with other trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting).
Documentation
Prepare daily site reports, checklists, and progress updates.
Track materials delivery and usage on site.
Assist in preparing method statements, RFIs (Request for Information), and snag lists.
Cost & Time Management
Monitor labor productivity and resource utilization.
Report site progress versus project schedule.
Identify potential delays and propose corrective actions.
Skills Required
Strong knowledge of fit-out and finishing works (civil + MEP integration).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Leadership skills for managing site teams.
Problem-solving and quick decision-making under pressure.
Familiarity with project management software (MS Project, Primavera) is a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Experience: Typically 2–5 years in fit-out/interior contracting.
Knowledge of local building codes and international standards.
