Job Title: Store Helper
Department: Store / Warehouse
Reports To: Storekeeper / Store Supervisor
Job Purpose:
To assist in the daily operations of the company’s warehouse/store by handling, organizing, and maintaining materials, tools, and equipment used in Civil, Infrastructure, Electrical, and Mechanical projects for clients such as Saudi Aramco, NEOM, NWC, SWCC, SEC, and Diriyah.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Storekeeper in receiving, checking, and unloading incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
Carry, arrange, and properly stack/store items in designated areas following safety standards.
Support in issuing materials and tools to site teams as per approved requests.
Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in the store/warehouse area.
Assist in performing periodic stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
Tag and label materials for easy identification and traceability.
Handle loading and unloading of vehicles with proper care.
Ensure compliance with company policies and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) guidelines.
Provide support in waste disposal and organizing returned materials.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Storekeeper or Store Supervisor.
Qualifications & Skills:
High school education or equivalent (preferred).
Basic knowledge of warehouse/store operations.
Ability to read and understand material codes and labels.
Physically fit to handle lifting and manual work.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Prior experience in construction/contracting stores is an advantage.
Working Conditions:
Based in PPCO warehouse/store or project sites.
May require overtime during peak project activities.
Work involves standing, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
