Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Electrical Engineer (Power Sector) to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will be an all-rounder capable of handling transformer and generator operations end-to-end — including installation, termination, repair, maintenance, commissioning, decommissioning, and testing activities across diverse power systems and industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
Perform installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of power transformers, generators, RMUs, switchgears, and substations.
Conduct electrical diagnostics, insulation resistance, winding resistance, ratio, and vector group testing using modern test equipment (e.g., Megger TRAX, CPC 100, etc.).
Oversee commissioning and decommissioning of electrical systems in compliance with IEC, IEEE, and SASO standards.
Lead on-site troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and emergency repair operations.
Supervise cable termination and high-voltage connections ensuring compliance with safety and design standards.
Coordinate with clients, project teams, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
Prepare technical reports, test records, and maintenance documentation.
Ensure strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and electrical safety protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum 3–7 years of hands-on experience in the power generation, transmission, or transformer maintenance field.
Strong understanding of transformer and generator operations, testing, and commissioning.
Proficiency in using test instruments (Megger, Omicron, CPC 100, TRAX 280, etc.).
Solid knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and SASO standards.
Excellent problem-solving and team coordination skills.
Ability to travel to client sites within Saudi Arabia and work under field conditions.
Fluency in English (Arabic an advantage).
