We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC Engineer to ensure that all project activities, materials, and workmanship comply with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing quality assurance and quality control procedures, conducting inspections, maintaining documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection & test plans (ITPs).
Conduct inspections of materials, equipment, and completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
Review engineering drawings, technical documents, and material submittals.
Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports, and test documentation.
Identify non-conformities (NCRs) and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor subcontractor and supplier quality performance.
Participate in internal and external quality audits.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and client quality requirements.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and clients during inspections.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
3–7 years of QA/QC experience (or as required) in construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, or a related industry.
Strong understanding of quality management systems and inspection procedures.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
ISO 9001 Internal or Lead Auditor certification.
Experience preparing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
Familiarity with client and regulatory quality requirements.
Experience working on large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.
