Position: COST CONTROLLER / COST ENGINEER

Professionals currently working with leading contracting and industrial service companies such as Descon, Olayan, Sulzer, STS, QCON, and similar organizations.
? Mandatory Requirement:
Shutdown / Turnaround Experience
???? Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Finance
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Cost Control, Budgeting, and Cost Monitoring
• Strong experience in Shutdown and Turnaround projects
• Excellent knowledge of cost reporting, forecasting, and commercial controls
???? Key Responsibilities:
1?? Budgeting & Estimation
• Prepare detailed shutdown budgets (WBS/CBS)
• Estimate costs for manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
2?? Cost Monitoring & Control
• Monitor and track actual project expenditures
• Control costs related to labor, materials, and subcontractor activities
3?? Variance Analysis
• Analyze planned versus actual costs
• Recommend corrective actions to maintain budget targets
4?? Change Management
• Review change orders, cost variations, and subcontractor claims
• Ensure proper commercial evaluation and approvals
5?? Reporting
• Prepare daily and weekly cost control reports
• Develop cash flow forecasts and final shutdown cost reports
• Document lessons learned and project closeout reports
6?? Invoicing & Procurement
• Review supplier and subcontractor invoices
• Verify payment certificates and ensure billing accuracy
