Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.

Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), manpower histograms, and resource-loading plans.

Plan preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities for mechanical systems and equipment.

Monitor project progress, analyze schedule variances, and recommend corrective actions.

Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks and mitigation plans.

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, operations, and maintenance teams.

Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and management presentations.

Support shutdown, turnaround, and maintenance planning activities.

Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment resources.

Assist in budget planning, cost control, and forecasting activities.

Maintain planning documentation and ensure compliance with company procedures and client requirements.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Planning Engineer in construction/industrial projects.

Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and project controls.

Understanding of mechanical construction, maintenance, and shutdown activities.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.

Knowledge of SAP/CMMS systems is an advantage.

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
