Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Medium Voltage (MV)
Experience Required: 5+ Years
Key Responsibilities:
Design, review, and supervise Medium Voltage electrical systems (11kV, 13.8kV, 33kV, etc.).
Prepare and review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, load calculations, and technical specifications.
Supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of MV switchgear, transformers, cables, RMUs, and protection systems.
Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and operational issues in MV systems.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful project execution.
Review contractor submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.
Perform protection relay coordination and system analysis when required.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, IEC standards, and company procedures.
Prepare technical reports, progress reports, and maintenance records.
Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for MV equipment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Medium Voltage electrical systems.
Strong knowledge of MV distribution networks, transformers, switchgear, protection relays, and power systems.
Experience in testing and commissioning of MV equipment.
