### **Role Summary**
The QA/QC Electrical Engineer ensures that all electrical works for MEP projects comply with project specifications, international standards, and authority regulations. The role involves conducting inspections, reviewing technical documents, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring that installation, testing, and commissioning activities meet required quality benchmarks.

### **Key Responsibilities**
- Review and verify **electrical shop drawings, material submittals, method statements**, and ITPs for compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Conduct **site inspections** for electrical installations including LV systems, power distribution, lighting, grounding, earthing, cable routing, and containment systems.
- Ensure compliance with **Saudi Building Code (SBC), SEC, NFPA, IEC**, and project-specific QA/QC requirements.
- Monitor and verify installation of **MEP electrical systems** such as MDBs, SMDBs, DBs, transformers, generators, ATS, UPS, and ELV systems.
- Prepare and maintain **QA/QC documentation**, including inspection requests (IRs), NCRs, MIRs, checklists, and test reports.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site teams to resolve quality issues and close NCRs with corrective and preventive actions.
- Witness and verify **testing & commissioning** activities for electrical systems (IR, insulation resistance, continuity, functional tests, load tests).
- Ensure proper implementation of **project quality plans**, ITPs, and inspection procedures.
- Conduct **internal audits**, quality walkthroughs, and ensure adherence to HSE and QA/QC protocols.
- Support handover documentation including **as-built drawings, O&M manuals, test certificates**, and compliance reports.

### **Required Skills & Competencies**
- Strong technical knowledge of **electrical MEP systems** and installation practices.
- Familiarity with **QA/QC processes**, ITPs, method statements, and inspection workflows.
- Hands-on experience with **testing & commissioning** of LV and ELV systems.
- Strong understanding of **SBC, SEC, NFPA, IEC**, and relevant international codes.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Excellent reporting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA/QC documentation tools.

### **Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in QA/QC Electrical roles within MEP projects.
- GCC experience preferred (Saudi Arabia strongly preferred).
- Certification in QA/QC or T&C is an added advantage.
