The QC Engineer – Civil is responsible for ensuring that all civil construction activities comply with project specifications, approved drawings, contract requirements, applicable codes, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and third-party agencies.
Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and quality reports.
Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures and standards.
Identify non-conforming work and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when required.
Verify corrective and preventive actions for quality-related issues.
Maintain quality records, test reports, inspection checklists, and as-built documentation.
Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
Ensure all laboratory and field testing is carried out according to project specifications.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 3–6 years of experience in civil construction quality control.
Experience in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and quality standards.
Excellent understanding of inspection and testing procedures.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Problem-solving and attention to detail.
