Job Description: Project Sales Engineer – Industrial Refrigeration

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Sales Engineer with a proven track record in Industrial Refrigeration to join our team in Riyadh. In this role, you will bridge technical expertise and commercial execution—driving project sales, managing client relationships, and overseeing field execution, installation, and commissioning of large-scale industrial refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

Sales & Project Execution

Develop and execute project sales strategies for industrial refrigeration applications across Saudi Arabia.

Prepare detailed technical proposals, cost estimates, and engineering solutions tailored to client specifications.

Manage customer relationships, project timelines, and deliverables from initial offer to final commissioning.

Technical & Field Operations

Responsible for preparation, execution, and reporting on the various service interventions and projects assigned.

Hands-on installation, commissioning, validation, and calibration of screw and reciprocating compressors.

Perform preventive maintenance, technical inspections, and plant repairs.

Conduct troubleshooting and detailed technical assessments of existing industrial refrigeration plants.

Client Advisory & Training

Advise, support, and cooperate with clients, contractors, project managers, and service engineers on functional upgrades, controls upgrades, and HSE upgrades as required.

Conduct structured maintenance and operator training sessions for client engineering teams.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).

Experience:

Minimum 5+ years of direct experience in project sales within Industrial Refrigeration.

Minimum 8 years of core hands-on/engineering experience in ammonia ($NH_3$) industrial refrigeration systems.

Technical Proficiency: Highly proficient in reading and interpreting P&ID diagrams, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.

Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken). Proficiency in Arabic is a strong added advantage.

Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently within the region and abroad as required by project scope.

Key Competencies

Deep technical knowledge of ammonia refrigeration cycles, screw/reciprocating compressor packages, and central plant layouts.

Strong negotiation, technical presentation, and commercial closing skills.

Proven ability to troubleshoot complex plant issues and manage multi-stakeholder engineering projects.
