Shall pose a strong LOTO knowledge & Managing the safe work procedure of LOTO and ensure the required instructions are in place.
* Manage, instruct, and supervise the Commissioning Engineer (LOTO Permit Receiver) and ensure that they comply the requirements of this procedure.
* Verify all the related LOTO permit properly identified with appropriate tags for ensuring effective implementation of the LOTO system.
* Shall review the LOTO Permit then conduct the site inspection along with the permit receiver to approve the LOTO Permit.
* Shall be only authorized person to issuing the LOTO Permit as a LOTO permit Issuer
* Cancels the PTW, if permit conditions are not being met
* Will be a part of making decision on isolation requirements, method of isolation and the LOTO boundary in consultation with the Commissioning Manager
* Along with the HSE manager and commissioning manager, shall authorize the process of breaking a LOTO device.
* He shall stop/suspend all works performed in an unsafe manner or not in compliance with violation of this procedure and report the same to the commissioning manager and HSE
