Role Overview
As a Senior QA/QC Engineer, you will lead the development, implementation, and management of the Quality Management System (QMS) across high-profile consulting projects. You will act as the primary custodian of project quality, ensuring all design, engineering, and construction deliverables seamlessly align with international standards, client specifications, and regulatory codes.
Key Responsibilities
• QMS Management: Establish, implement, and maintain project-specific Quality Management Plans in compliance with ISO 9001:2015.
• Auditing & Compliance: Lead regular internal and external quality audits across engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
• Review & Approval: Review contractor and subcontractor Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and Material Approval Requests (MARs).
• Defect Prevention: Manage the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process, driving root-cause analysis and implementing robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary quality liaison between the consulting team, client representatives, and project contractors.
• Mentorship: Supervise, mentor, and guide junior QA/QC engineers and site inspectors to foster a culture of quality.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Experience: 10 to 12 years of proven experience in QA/QC roles, with a substantial portion spent within a reputed engineering consulting firm.
• Certifications: Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor is highly preferred. AWS/CSWIP (for mechanical) or relevant discipline-specific certifications are a plus.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of international standards (ASTM, ACI, ASME, BS, EN, ISO) and local engineering codes.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, sharp analytical problem-solving, and authoritative communication skills to manage high-level stakeholders
