Civil Engineer – Earthworks & Underground Utilities
We are seeking a Civil Engineer with 7–10 years of relevant experience to plan, coordinate, and oversee earthworks and underground utility construction. The role includes ensuring site activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality requirements, safety standards, and schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and technical submissions; coordinate design clarifications with consultants and project teams.
Plan and monitor excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, soil treatment, and compaction works.
Coordinate installation of underground networks, including stormwater, sewerage, potable water, irrigation, and electrical or telecommunications ducts, as applicable.
Verify survey setting-out, alignments, levels, pipe gradients, invert levels, and utility clearances.
Coordinate subcontractors, site engineers, supervisors, surveyors, inspectors, equipment, and material deliveries.
Monitor inspections, testing, and quality records for earthworks and utility installation before work is covered or backfilled.
Ensure excavation permits, utility detection, shoring, dewatering, and other required safety controls are implemented.
Track progress, quantities, resources, and construction issues; prepare site reports and support as-built drawings and handover documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
7–10 years of experience in infrastructure construction, particularly earthworks and underground utilities.
Strong knowledge of construction drawings, surveying, quality control, and site safety requirements.

Iqama transfer is not available. Contract will be through Ajeer.
