Position: Civil Engineer

1. Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in Oil & Gas construction projects, particularly Saudi Aramco projects. The candidate will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and executing civil construction activities in compliance with approved engineering drawings, project specifications, Saudi Aramco standards, and HSE requirements.

2. Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities at Oil & Gas project sites.

Execute civil works including excavation, backfilling, grading, compaction, concrete works, foundations, and structural works.

Handle construction activities for equipment foundations, pipe racks, sleeper foundations, trenches, underground utilities, and concrete structures.

Interpret and review IFC drawings, construction drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs.

Ensure all civil activities comply with Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications, and approved method statements.

Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, survey, planning, and other construction teams.

Coordinate inspections, including RFI submission, WIR, MIR, and related quality documentation.

Monitor subcontractors, manpower, equipment, and daily construction progress.

Ensure proper implementation of ITPs, method statements, and approved material specifications.

Coordinate with Saudi Aramco representatives, consultants, and client inspectors during site inspections.

Identify technical issues, resolve site-related engineering problems, and report progress to the Construction Manager.

Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and Saudi Aramco safety procedures.

3. Technical Requirements

Strong knowledge of civil construction works in Oil & Gas facilities.

Good understanding of Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards and Construction Specifications.

Knowledge of concrete mix design, reinforcement, formwork, grouting, and foundation works.

Experience in earthworks, soil compaction, field density tests, and excavation activities.

Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings, structural drawings, and civil layouts.

Knowledge of QA/QC documentation, ITP, RFI, WIR, MIR, and method statements.

Familiarity with survey coordination, levels, coordinates, and setting-out activities.

4. Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

Minimum 5–8 years of experience in civil construction, preferably in Oil & Gas projects.

Previous experience working on Saudi Aramco projects is highly preferred.

Candidates with direct Saudi Aramco project experience and knowledge of Aramco standards will be given priority.

Experience in EPC projects, industrial facilities, pipelines, and infrastructure works is an advantage.

Good English communication and technical reporting skills.

5. Preferred Candidate Profile

Saudi Aramco project experience is mandatory/preferred as per project requirements.

Familiarity with Saudi Aramco work permit systems and site procedures.

Ability to work independently at project sites.

Strong coordination, supervision, and problem-solving skills.

Available to join in Saudi Arabia or transferable Iqama preferred.
