Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Civil / Structural Engineer with strong expertise in reviewing and approving civil, structural and architectural engineering drawings, design calculations and technical submissions for industrial projects.
Key Requirements
1. Design & Drawing Review
- Extensive experience reviewing detailed civil, structural and architectural drawings, layouts and engineering calculations.
- Ability to assess and verify engineering design packages.
2. Industry Experience
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Fertilizer or Solar Energy projects.
- GCC or relevant international industrial project experience.
3. Foundation & Structural Expertise
Proven experience reviewing designs for:
- Heavy static equipment foundations, including distillation columns and heat exchangers.
- Dynamic and localized foundations for pumps and other equipment.
- Industrial pipe racks, structural T-posts and elevated steel structures for Fin Fans.
- Solar PV/CSP structures, including tracker/fixed-tilt foundations, inverter stations and localized racking layouts (added advantage).
4. Site Experience
- Hands-on experience in site assessments and civil inspections.
- Construction quality control (QA/QC) and safety enforcement experience.
5. Standards & Software
- Knowledge of ASTM, ACI and Royal Commission standards.
- Familiarity with structural engineering and design software.
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience.
