Position Details

• Job Title: MEP Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all on-site MEP installation activities, including Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.

• Ensure execution of MEP works in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and local regulations.

• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and other construction disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.

• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents prior to installation.

• Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed according to the approved project schedule.

• Plan and allocate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to achieve project targets efficiently.

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality compliance and identify any construction issues.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and submit updates to project management.

• Resolve technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions to maintain project continuity.

• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover activities for all MEP systems.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements on site.

• Verify completed work quantities and assist in the preparation of progress claims and variation orders.

• Attend project meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to discuss technical and progress-related matters.

• Coordinate procurement requirements and ensure timely delivery of approved materials.

• Review and update as-built drawings and project documentation.

• Monitor project costs and support cost-control initiatives by minimizing waste and rework.

• Ensure all snagging and punch-list items are completed before project handover.

• Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
