Experience Required: 5 Years (Substation / Power Sector)
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Responsibilities:
* Implement and enforce the PQP, ITPs, and MOS across all civil scopes.
* Review, verify, and approve MARs, MTCs, and supplier submittals prior to site delivery.
* Issue and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and FONs; perform root-cause analysis and oversee corrective actions through to final closure.
* Raise Requests for Inspection (RFIs) and lead joint walk-throughs with project consultants, client representatives, and local electricity grid authorities.
* Manage the civil-to-electrical interface, conducting formal joint walk-throughs and handing over completed foundations and duct runs to electrical installation teams.
* Maintain complete site inspection records registers, i.e. RFI logs, MIR log, Concrete Crushing & all other required and compile comprehensive QA/QC handover dossiers for client acceptance.
* All hardcopies of RFIs and MIRs shall be properly signed by the EPC and PC, with scanned copies submitted to the document management system. Physical hardcopy records must be maintained on-site at all times.
* Inspect formwork; rebar layout, concrete pours, and post-pour curing Concrete Structures below & above the ground.
* Verify anchor bolt alignments, elevation levels, and embedded steel plate locations to ensure precision before electrical equipment mounting.
* Supervise structural concrete, steel frame erection, masonry, waterproofing systems, and fire-stop penetrations for the Control Building.
* Supervise field-testing (concrete slump, cylinder/cube compression tests, soil density, and moisture content).
•Coordinate with third-party accredited laboratories for soil, aggregate, concrete mix, and steel testing.
* Ensure all site survey equipment and laboratory-testing tools have valid calibration certificates.
* Track and clear site punch lists (defect lists) systematically ahead of final project commissioning.
