VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT – PROJECT ENGINEER

China Railway 18 Bureau is looking for an experienced and highly qualified Project Engineer to join our construction team in Saudi Arabia.

Project Experience: High-Rise Buildings & 4/5-Star Hotels

???? MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 15+ years of overall professional experience.

Candidates must have experience in High-Rise Building projects and 4/5-Star Hotel projects.

At least 80% of the candidate's total experience must be in High-Rise Building projects.

Candidates without relevant High-Rise Building and 4/5-Star Hotel experience will NOT be considered.

???? KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and supervise engineering activities for high-rise building and hotel construction projects.

Review and coordinate shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and technical documents.

Ensure construction activities are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, codes, and project requirements.

Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, subcontractors, QA/QC, planning, procurement, and MEP teams.

Monitor site progress and ensure engineering activities are aligned with the approved project schedule.

Resolve technical issues and provide effective engineering solutions at site.

Review construction drawings and identify discrepancies, clashes, and design conflicts.

Coordinate with design consultants and relevant stakeholders for technical clarifications and approvals.

Ensure proper implementation of approved construction methods and engineering standards.

Monitor the quality of construction works and ensure compliance with project specifications.

Support the preparation and review of RFIs, technical reports, inspection requests, and as-built documentation.

Monitor subcontractors' technical performance and ensure compliance with approved requirements.

Participate in technical meetings, progress meetings, and coordination meetings.

Assist in managing project risks, technical challenges, and construction interfaces.

Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and company policies at the project site.

Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineers and site teams.

Coordinate engineering works across different disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.

Perform any other engineering duties assigned by the Project Management.
