Job description

FAST Operations and Maintenance Company (Dammam) is hiring 2 Site Support Engineers / Project Coordinators, one Civil and one Mechanical. The engineers will be deputed to a major refinery in Yanbu to support construction and commissioning of a large storage tank project.

Job Details

Location: Refinery site, Yanbu, Saudi Arabia

Duration: 4 months, project-based deputation, full-time at site

Working Schedule: 6 days/week (Saturday–Thursday), 10 hours/day. Extended hours may be needed during critical construction and commissioning stages.

Joining: Within 2 weeks of selection (immediate joiners preferred)

Key Responsibilities

Review and resolve site technical queries and coordinate clarifications with the home-office engineering team

Review field change requests, NCRs and site technical deviations, and give technical recommendations

Interpret engineering drawings, data sheets and specifications for site teams

Attend daily construction coordination meetings and take part in constructability reviews

Support contractors during installation activities

Act as liaison between site team, engineering office, vendor representatives and construction contractors

Coordinate with vendors on installation and commissioning issues, review vendor documents and attend vendor site visits

Support pre-commissioning, commissioning and punch-point closure

Track technical queries and engineering action items through to closure

Prepare daily site reports, weekly status reports, STQ log updates, design change/deviation tracking reports and monthly progress reports

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

8–12 years of experience in EPC/EPCM projects

Minimum 3 years of project coordination experience in refinery, petrochemical or tank farm projects

Experience on large storage tank projects preferred

Saudi Aramco, YASREF, SABIC or similar Middle East project experience is a strong advantage

Strong command of engineering drawings, specifications and construction practices

Good communication and coordination skills in English

Preferred

Currently in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama, or able to mobilize quickly

Valid Saudi driving license is an advantage
